I am starting to question what is going thru the majority of people's heads. This large alien mass roams this world, two dimensional and are devoid of fellowship for considerate human interaction. As if they're hive mindedly guided throughout their day, collecting answers for the days hot button items, and taking internal tallies on who is breaking the ever changing rules. Some can be observed spending time heads down, scouring social media on their phones, in hopes to perform an automated response of offense.
This is where I stop and take a breather. I realized that if one person notices the actions of a group as suffering of the same strangeness, then logic would suggest it's more mathematically probable that this one person may have the internal issues. This is why I've been keeping to myself in silent introspection. Yet it's not just myself, I have gotten confirmation from others who are feeling the same. So what gives?
The average people are finding the ability to share our thoughts and experiences increasingly difficult. Our culture and even vocabulary is dissolving under thought policing. It's often baited into conversations as a test to see if one is part of this collective. To question the ethics of an abortion clinic is to question women's rights in a whole. To request clarification on someone's ability to choose sexual preference or gender is to admit deep hatred for homosexuals. Which is silly, what rational person would be making a case against women's rights or someone's private life, yet that's the mass narrative. Even harboring a philosophy of how the earth came to existence causes an complete shutdown of respectful communication with many. Does it truly matter what someone other than yourself concludes about the beginning of time? for some it does I guess, for some they've made a career out of it.
From my experience, this hypersensitive swarm is not exclusive to any one political side. It is divided in two, often equally unstable, and in a constant flux. For every one person who demands their officials be left unquestioned as they usurp more authority, there is another who believes these officials should be hung without trial. The officials need not bring any substance to the table to activate these crowds, a slogan or podium pounding is far more effective.
I'm not outraged or surprised about any of this, I fear what type of society is being constructed. Also with these extremes, what is to happen to the vanishing average people? The lack of open dialog, and the abundance of closed case scenarios are taking it's toll on reason. Without proper investigative reasoning and resistance to segregation we as a people are doomed. There is a truth about everything. The truth is we don't own the truth. The truth is something that can shows itself to us, often in a very harsh manner. However because we are blinded to where this absolute resides, does not sustain the notion that it doesn't exist, or that we should ever give up seeking it.
